Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: /n RN - Acute Care Inpatient /n/n Job Details: /n • Work day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM /n• Function as a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team providing individualized, high-quality patient care /n• Practice within a clinical environment supported by the Shared Governance Model /n• Implement the Nursing Process including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation /n• Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care adapted to population-specific characteristics /n• Partner with patients and families using bedside shift reports and interdisciplinary rounds /n• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care /n• Complete initial and ongoing professional competency assessments and mandatory education /n• Serve as preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses and staff /n• Participate in evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement activities /n• Must maintain Georgia RN license and uphold Professional Nurse Practice Act standards /n• Required to follow American Nurses Association Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics /n• Participate in data collection and clinical quality improvement initiatives /n• Support efficient use of human and material resources /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare organization operates as a comprehensive medical center providing acute care services with a focus on evidence-based practice and patient-centered care.
