We've included these words in our logo as a continued reminder to our team and our clients, alike. We are seeking a new Construction Superintendent to join our team. A construction superintendent is responsible for the daily operations of a construction site from planning projects to overseeing their completion. Duties vary depending on the type of construction each business conducts, but generally tasks include scheduling work to proceed according to a strict timeline, conducting audits and checks to ensure that work corresponds with blueprints or client requests, and monitoring safety and compliance. As a member of the On-site Construction Team, you will work with our on-site employees, internal stakeholders, ALL subcontractors, vendors, and client representatives and report to our internal stakeholders. What You Will Do: Coordinating scheduling of ALL subcontractors, consultants, inspectors and vendors to complete each facet of the project on time Supervising the construction site Ensuring tasks are completed on schedule Monitoring the quality of work performed and materials used to ensure quality control standards are being met at various stages of the project Making sure tasks are performed in a safe and efficient manner Preparing reports Effectively communicate with the client's on-site representatives and internal stakeholders Review blueprints or specifications to determine work requirements. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction. Escalate and resolve areas of concern as raised by clients. Review blueprints or specifications to determine work requirements. Facilitate daily walks with the project stakeholders, weekly coordination calls and safety meetings. Participate in weekly meetings with the Architect and Engineers and internal stakeholder meetings regarding your assigned project Maintain a written & digital log of visitors, job actions performed, materials expended, and problems resolved on the job-site What You Will Bring: Our ideal candidate will have at least 5 to 10 years of relevant experience and the following credentials/skills: High School or GED Site Supervision Managing Punch Out Lists Project Scheduling Submittals Construction Documentation Project Closeout Construction Safety Request For Information Entry & Management Blueprints/Construction Drawings Change Order Management Inventory Management Basic knowledge of Microsoft-based software programs, ie. Word, Excel, Outlook PROCORE experience, preferred Ability to provide reports and professional correspondence to vendors, clients and internal stakeholders both verbally and in writing Ability to stand for several hours at a time and to walk in varying climate conditions and on uneven ground Capacity to physically lift up to 80lbs Ability to operate a forklift Why You'll Love Us: We are a growing diverse company that promotes professional development and promoting from within, when possible.
