Histo Tech Location: Marietta, GA Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $1,718 to $1,912 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/30/2026 About the Position Job Title Cyto Tech - Histology City/State: Marietta, Georgia Shift: Days, 07:00:00-19:00:00 Contract Length: 12 weeks Start Date: 03/30/2026 Job Description: Under general supervision of the Histology/Cytology Manager, along with Wellstar Laboratory Medical Directors and diagnostic expertise of the pathologist group, directly supervises all functions of the Cytology Section. Is responsible for planning, coordinating, staffing and technical issues of the section. Responsible for working with co-workers to efficiently perform cytology duties, ThinPrep screening (GYN-automated assisted PAP screening, Non-GYN, stat reads and FNA), special cytological preparations and evaluates specimens from different anatomic sites for interpretation utilizing appropriate criteria for both immediate and same day microscopic examination.
