Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Pediatrics - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, rotating - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a pediatric surgery OR position requiring BLS, PALS, PEARS, CNOR certifications and pediatric surgical experience. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in the Pediatric Surgery Operating Room of a hospital setting - Patient population includes pediatric patients requiring neuro, ortho, ENT, general, and ophthalmology surgical procedures - Uses Epic EMR system and prior experience with Epic is required - Variable day shift schedule with 12, 10, and 8-hour shifts and rotating shifts - Call required, with 2 4-hour, 2 8-hour, and 2 12-hour call shifts minimum per 6-week period - No on-call duties outside the noted call requirements - Responsibilities include providing perioperative care for pediatric surgical patients - Work in a nicotine-free facility with mandatory testing for compliance - Must submit request for time off (RTO) at time of application - Flu vaccination is required during flu season and exemptions are not permitted /n /n Requirements/n - Active GA or compact RN license - Minimum 2 years of recent OR RN experience - Current certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS), and Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) - Experience with neuro, ortho, ENT, general, and eye surgical procedures required - Epic EMR experience required - References from two recent OR supervisors or managers required - Must be nicotine-free and pass a nicotine test with the drug screen - Flu vaccination required with no exemptions accepted /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-667204.
