Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Stockbridge,

Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse – Georgia Start Date: January 26,

to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour shifts, rotating every
other weekend; no call required Highlights: Patient-focused
Med-Surg unit caring for adults to geriatrics with diverse
diagnoses including appendicitis, cholecystitis, pneumonia, COPD
exacerbation, sepsis, and surgical post-op recovery 1:6
nurse-to-patient ratio on a 34-bed unit with average daily census
of 27 patients Work with specialized equipment including NGTs,
chest tubes, feeding tubes, and wound vacs Epic EMR system with
Pyxis medication management and SBAR communication protocols
Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including PT, respiratory
services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy First-time travelers
welcome with minimum 2 years of experience Requirements: Active
Georgia or Compact State RN license (must be in hand at time of
application) BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications
required; ACLS and CPI preferred Minimum 2 years of nursing
experience; Med-Surg experience strongly preferred Experience with
1:6 patient ratios preferred Competency with chest tubes, colostomy
care, feeding tube management, isolation precautions, peripheral
line care, and wound vac therapy Two supervisory references
(Manager level or above) highly preferred at time of submission
Full compliance required prior to start date; must be available to
complete onboarding requirements within 48 hours of contract
signing Willingness to float within facility as needed Availability
to work major holidays as scheduled during assignment period Why
