Occupational Therapist Location: Stockbridge, GA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,426 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 12 Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Outpatient Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 09:00 - 17:30 Experience: Minimum 1 year in outpatient; first timers are accepted License: GA State OT License required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Patient population: Adults to geriatrics - Experience in assessments, discharge planning, evaluation, plan of care, and reassessments - Skills in lifting, transfer, patient/family education, safety and injury prevention - Knowledge of adaptive equipment and pre-discharge planning - Familiarity with electronic health record systems Description: Candidates must have a minimum of one year of outpatient experience. First-time travelers are accepted. The patient population includes adults and geriatric patients. Common patient diagnoses involve stroke, orthopedic issues (shoulder, hands, upper extremity), and other neurological conditions such as multiple sclerosis, traumatic brain injury, and Guillain-Barré syndrome. Required skills include assessment, discharge planning, evaluation, creating a plan of care, and performing reassessments. Candidates need to be proficient in patient and family education, as well as safety and injury prevention techniques. Knowledge of adaptive equipment and pre-discharge planning is necessary. The staff-to-patient ratio is 1:1. Familiarity with electronic health record systems, specifically Epic, is required. Wearing black scrubs or business casual attire is expected.
