Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Stockbridge, GA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,724 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 14 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred License: Must hold a valid nursing license Certifications: BLS, NIH Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred Experience with patient ratios of 1:6 Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in Medical Surgical care. The role involves providing care for a patient population ranging from adults to geriatrics. Common patient diagnoses include appendicitis, cholecystitis, small bowel obstruction, pneumonia, COPD exacerbation, sepsis, hypertension, hypo/hyperglycemia, prostatectomy, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, ostomy creation/reversal, exploratory laparoscopy, and bowel resections. Equipment used in this role includes nasogastric tubes, chest tubes, feeding tubes, and wound vacs. The nurse will observe and manage a patient ratio of 1:6. The average daily census is approximately 27 patients in a unit with 34 beds. Interdisciplinary support is available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation. The position requires full compliance to start on time. Candidates are expected to work major holidays if they fall within the assignment period.
