Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: State license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Two supervisory references preferred Description: This is a general medical-surgical unit. The unit primarily cares for a geriatric population. Patient diagnoses vary from day to day. Every other weekend commitment is required. There is no call requirement for this position. Floating within the facility and scope of practice may be necessary. Full compliance is required to start on time. If not compliant within the designated time, the start date may be delayed. Travelers are expected to work on major holidays if they fall within the assignment period. If one or two major holidays occur during the assignment period, travelers are expected to work those holidays. If three major holidays occur during the assignment period, travelers are expected to work two of the holidays. Candidates must be available to submit core items and complete any required labs promptly after signing the contract. Local candidates are accepted for this position. Return travelers must complete one successful assignment outside the specified locations prior to rebooking. Modules will be completed during orientation and are non-billable.
