Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and credentialed Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) to join our surgical team. The CSFA plays a vital role in supporting surgeons during operative procedures by providing direct assistance throughout the perioperative phase. This full-time role follows a consistent three 12-hour day shift schedule and is ideal for professionals committed to high-quality surgical care. Key Responsibilities: Provide hands-on surgical support, including tissue handling, wound exposure, suturing, and hemostasis Collaborate with the surgical team in preoperative planning and post-operative patient care Ensure proper positioning, prepping, and draping of patients Assist with application of dressings and post-operative protocols Maintain the sterile field and adhere strictly to aseptic technique Communicate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia teams to ensure coordinated patient care Perform equipment checks and ensure availability of necessary surgical instruments and supplies
