PRC's research is supported by an industry consortium of more than 40 companies from the US, Europe, and Asia. PRC maintains a suite of research labs and tools for packaging and heterogeneous integration, including a 100-150 mm panel pilot facility for prototyping electronic system technologies. PRC research also benefits from IEN's state-of-the-art cleanroom and characterization facilities. Craft and articulate a technical vision and strategy for the future of advanced packaging and 3D heterogeneous integration systems that leads the industry and the world. Maintain and expand PRC's leadership in advanced packaging and heterogeneous integration by leveraging the recent federal funding push and long-standing industry demand. Be an advocate for the PRC with both internal and external stakeholders, including GT faculty, students, and staff, GT leadership, PRC member companies, and the state of Georgia, to build new partnerships and grow the PRC's impact. Enhance PRC's world-class facilities to support the emerging needs of the advanced packaging and heterogeneous integration community. Create an organizational structure to carry out the technical and educational vision, respecting the interests of industrial consortium members and PRC students. Design and execute interdisciplinary educational and workforce development programs that prepare undergraduate, master's, and PhD students for the current and future needs of the semiconductor industry. Strengthen the internal and external PRC community by enhancing the diversity of PRC's students, faculty, and staff, increasing participation among the GT academic units, Interdisciplinary Research Institutes, Georgia Tech Research Institute, and working closely with industry and government.
