Job Description:
A company is looking for a Visiting Professor for Health
Information Management or Technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver courses effectively across various modalities and provide
academic support to students
Engage in course development, assessment support, and mentor other
faculty members
Participate in professional development activities and scholarly
activities in the field of study
Required Qualifications:
A master's degree with 18 graduate hours in the field being taught
from a regionally accredited institution
Current industry experience in a healthcare setting and relevant
certifications (e.g., RHIT)
Knowledge of healthcare operations, including electronic health
records and IT systems
Subject matter expertise in health information management, systems,
privacy, and security
Flexibility to work evenings and the ability to collaborate in a
diverse environment
