Job Title: Chart Retrieval Specialists Location: Remote Duration: 3 months (possible extension) Schedule: 40hr, Mon - Fri, 8 am - 4.30 am Job Description: · Serves as the key external-facing member of cross-functional/divisional team of designated resources assigned to manage chart abstraction for assigned providers and facilities · Informs and educates providers and physicians on Client’s chart collection activities and is responsible for fostering provider relationships and adoption of Client Risk Adjustment initiatives · Responds to provider inquiries regarding provider related information and data to resolve issues and increase chart retrieval volume. · Educates, monitors, analyzes, documents, and interacts with physicians and other health care professionals to ensure cooperation and understanding of chart retrieval projects. Alerts leadership to potential issues and opportunities found through physician contact. · Maintains a thorough knowledge of healthcare industry trends and developments through the review of industry publications, newsletters and formal training. · Ensures medical records are assembled in standard orders and are accurate and complete Ensure and meet productivity expectations standards for collection of medical record. · Maintain strict confidentiality and security with all patient records while ensuring compliance with HIPPA standards. · Receive and process chart requests in accordance with the Company Standards. Ensures integrity of chart retrieval database and quality audit controls of all medical records documents in a timely and accurate manner.
